Nice British Marked Civil War era Boot pistol. These pistols were exported to the US from England for use by gamblers, Civil War boot pistol and ladies. just under .50 cal. single shot percussion. Overall length of pistol is 7 1/4" & barrel length right at 3". Barrel is a screw type for this pistol. Breech area is engraved as well the hammer & bottom of trigger guard. Action is good with the normal, for this type pistol. have to push trigger forward to lock. One piece wood grip is in good used condition. A nice example of this CW era boot pistol.
