3rd Model Colt Navy Revolver

A nice all original Middle 3rd Model Colt Navy Revolver with standard 7 1/2" oct. barrel. 6 shot, .36 cal. percussion revolver with small brass trigger guard. Serial No. 33351, all matching except for wedge & came out of Colt's factory in 1853.  Smooth metal with a lot of the original bluing on barrel, cylinder, hammer turning black. There is around 25%+ original silver on trigger guard & traces of silver on back strap. Cylinder has around 80%+ original scene intact & parts of the engaged line intact also & has a few use dings. Cylinder has markings of Colt's Patent No. 33351 & Ormsby line below intact. Barrel is marked Address Saml Colt New York City. End of barrel at muzzle has small holster wear. Serial nos. on cylinder, barrel, frame, cylinder rod, trigger guard & backstrap, loading lever & inside wood grips. Action is very good on this Colt Navy. A nice early Colt Navy Revolver with a lot of the original finish turning black & a lot of scene.Â
