Beautiful Condition on this 1828 American Needlework Sampler 1828

Beautifully wrought Antique 1828 dated Needle Work American Sampler. This sampler is in very excellent condition, not framed & still shows the small holes where it was held down while being made. The sampler is 17 3/4"L X 9 1/2" wide. A young girl out of New York state made this sampler & was 9 years old. Sampler is stitched with the Alphabet in capital & small letters, numbers, Remember now thy creator in the days of thy youth, has floral designs below, Mary Ann Steels work in the ninth year of her age 1828. Below this is 2 birds, 5 trees, 2 dogs & two birds. She used tan, brown, green & black colors in this nice early American sampler. Mary Ann Steel's sister who she lived with was Sarah Baker. They were in Household #124 in the 1850 census. They lived in German Flatts Herkimer Co. New York. A really excellent conditioned early American sampler from 1828.
