Excellent Cased, Early M1849 Colt Pocket Revolver with 6" barrel & rare factory Apple wood grips. Serial no. 39130 which this colt came out of Colt's factory in 1852. Standard Colt 1849 with 5 shot cylinder in .31 cal. 6" octagon barrel with loading lever. Rare, factory on piece applewood grips with original colts serial no. on this gun on the inside back channel of grips. Early two line: Address Saml Colt New York City on top of the barrel. Serial no. stamped on bottom of barrel, frame & on trigger guard, wedge, inside of grips, butt, cylinder, loading lever & on cylinder rod. There is around 75-80% original blueing on barrel. large amount of blueing on loading lever, hammer & on cylinder.  90%+ original silver plating on backstrap & trigger guard. Traces of casehardening on frame. The cylinder is marked with Colts Patent no. 39130 & cylinder has all the scene intact. The frame is marked with Colts Patent on left side. The action is excellent. Colts inspector G, t, U on trigger guard. Original colt wood case with velour style lining. Box in good condition with normal cracks in the lid & the brass key lock cover is missing. Original, Colt droop wing eagle powder flask in great condition. Brass Colt patent .31 bullet mold also in good condition. Colt wrench & screwdriver intact along with original container of J.Goldmark's Percussion caps 1858. There are a few, what looks like original .31 cal. bullets in the case. The 1849 colt revolver was popular during the gold rush days in the west & later was a popular sidearm during the Civil War by both Northern & Southern Soldiers. A really nice, early, M1849 Colt Pocket revolver with 6" barrel & rare factory Applewood grips with tons of blue & silver with the original colt wood case & colt implements. Hard to find in this condition with the case & implements.
