Civil War double image tintypes of Sergt. & Mother. Nice clear images of the Young Soldier with Coat with Stripes & the other image is of his seated mother with dress, & gilded buttons & rings. This image has a 3 Cent George Washington stamp on back which came out in US in 1862. Nice mat & frame. The soldiers image has the background around the soldier darkened by the photographer. Both Soldier & mother have tinted cheeks. The Soldier looks to have an enlisted frock coat. Very nice mating & frame on soldier's image. The gutta percha case is in excellent condition with floral relief on front & back. Very nice double image of soldier & Mother.
