Civil War, Martial M1860 Colt Army Revolver & Holster, Killer Cylinder Scene

All original Civil War used M1860 Colt Army revolver with all matching serial numbers. Standard M1860 Colt revolver used by US Gov't during the civil war for cavalry units & officers. Also very popular with Confederate soldiers during the war. This CW Colt has 83008 serial no. which is on the barrel, frame, cylinder, wedge, cylinder rod, trigger guard & back strap. Military initials on barrel on both sides, cylinder, back strap & trigger guard.. Barrel has the Colt New York address. Frame with colt patent on left side. The cylinder has 90%+ of the naval scene, which is clear, intact & most of the engaged line intact. Metal is smooth with small pinprick  Salt & pepper rusting on the very front part of the barrel & on back strap. Nice mellow gray patina on the revolver. Action is super good. Wood grips with inspector's cartouches on both sides. One you can read ( JT). Grips are in good used condition with small wear at toe. Took back strap off & it looks as if it has not been off the revolver since the war. I left everything the way it is. Brass back strap & trigger guard with nice uncleaned mellow patina. Revolver has the original patent leather holster with it in which the leather conforms exactly to the curves in the revolver. The leather is supple has wear at the bottom at the muzzel. Flap in good condition. Belt loop is missing a small area. This Colt army saw action during the Civil War & is still in great shape. A really nice M1860 martial Colt Army & original Holster.
