All original Civil War Confederate made College Hill, Nashville, Tn. Foot Officer's Sword & original Scabbard. Nearly straight hammered blade with smooth metal & great patina. Nice mellow patina on all the brass parts. High pommel which is a characteristic of these swords. College Hill was operated under L.T. Cunningham in Nashville, Tn. until the Union forces took over Nashville in 1862. Until then they made quite a number of swords for the Confederacy.
