CW Era Colt M1849 Revolver, 6" Barrel, Killer Scene, 1860
All original Colt M1849 Pocket Revolver Manufactured 1860, Smooth metal with nice patina, sharp edges & killer scene. Serial no. 181363 Which is all matching. SN is on the barrel, wedge, frame, cylinder, trigger guard, loading lever, cylinder rod & backstrap butt. 6" barrel is stamped in two lines ----Address Saml Colt Hartford Ct.---- Original front sight intact. Cylinder has around 98% of the hold up scene intact & very clear with what's left of the original bluing outlining the scene. Colt Patent No. 181363 clear also on cylinder. Brass trigger guard has around 90%+ silver finish intact & brass backstrap has around 88% silver finish intact. Action is excellent on this CW era Colt Pocket Revolver. Hammer has a lot of the original bluing intact turned dark. Left side of the original wood grips has around 90% original varnish intact & the other side has around 70% varnish intact. Nice rifling inside barrel. A lot of these colts made in 1860 went South before the out break of the CW & were used by Confederate troops. A really nice example of the Colt M1849 Pocket Revolver mfrd 1860.
