Really nice condition on this Civil War, Martial, M1860 Colt Army, 4 Screw, Revolver. Standard colt army revolver, 6 shot, .44 cal. percussion with creeping loading lever. All matching serial nos. even on the wedge. Serial no. 19854 which came out of Colt's factory in 1861. Revolver has traces of the original finish & even has a section on the frame with case colors intact. Barrel has: Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America. & military inspectors initials on both sides of barrel, S & B & SN 19854 on bottom. Cylinder has 70%+ light cylinder scene intact & has "Engaged 16 May 1843" intact & Colts Patent NO.19854 & Pat. Sept. 10th 1850 intact.  Frame is mkd with Colts Patent on left side & sn.19854 on bottom & has the 4 screws in which the one was for putting the shoulder stock on the revolver.  Brass trigger guard has sn 19854 & T. Backstrap has T & sn19854 on butt. Walnut wood grips in good used condition. Wedge has sn19854 & also on cylinder rod 19854. Metal on the revolver is smooth & has traces of the finish intact. The 60 army colt was probably the most popular sidearm during the CW & used by many of the US Cavalry troopers during the war as well as a lot of Confederate cavalry soldiers  had these revolvers from purchase or from capture.
