Nice images in wooden double case of Man holding a S&W No.2 Army revolver & lady with ribbon of Hair. Both are 9th plate images. The man's image is marked at the top with Melainotype Plate For Neffs  Pat 19 Feb (18)56. Image is clear with younger man holding the revolver. The younger woman's image is a regular tintype with other women who are probably her sisters. Under the glass is a ribbon with hair. The case has nice mattings & frames & on the inside under the woman's image is a ribbon with F.J. & on the other side is A.R. The wood case in good condition with looks to be Cremation Urns on both sides along with floral designs. These images are very interesting & i'm doing research on them at this time.
