Early Percussion Converted Full Stock Kentucky Rifle

Nice Early example of a Flintlock Kentucky Rifle that was converted later to Percussion. This rifle has a 39" Octagon Barrel with no markings & looks to be around .40 cal. Full stock wood with great tiger striping. Wood shows normal use dings & has a couple of cracks which don't go all the way through & could be fixed. Back stock on this Ky rifle has an early 4 piece brass patch Box & has nice pronounced cheek piece on back stock. Brass trigger guard, butt plate, side plate, thimbles & nose cap all have nice mellow patina. Flat lock plate with Joseph Golcher marks & floral & dog etching. Rifle has double set triggers which work sometimes, needs to be adjusted. Both front & rear sights are intact. This Kentucky rifles has the southern style characteristics possible Virginia or Carolina made Rifle as Flintlock. A really nice looking tiger striped, full stock, percussion converted early Kentucky Rifle.
