Like New, Unfired Colt 2nd Generation 1847 Walker Percussion Revolver

Like New 2nd Generation 1847 Colt Walker Percussion black powder Revolver. Revolver is like new as the owner just had it displayed & never fired or even turned a screw on this Walker. He put the white in the address & in the cylinder scene to make them where they can be seen in his display. I left this alone & if the buyer wants he can remove that easily. This is a 6 shot, .44 cal. percussion revolver with a 9" part octagon & part round barrel with the Colt silvered front sight. Top of barrel mkd Address Saml Colt New-York City. The cylinder has the Texas Ranger & Indian battle scene along with Model U.S.M.R., 2936 Serial no. & Colts Patent. Side of barrel mkd US over 1847. Serial no. 2936 is on the butt, Trigger Guard, frame & bottom frame of barrel. Perfect walnut one piece grips with all the varnish. The bore is bright & has sharp rifling. This handgun has 99.9% of the original blue finish intact. one very small exception is under where the loading lever meets the metal. I put a picture of this in the group of pics with the description. The action is excellent.. These M1847 Colt revolvers were the largest & most powerful black powder handguns ever made. Brass square back trigger guard is excellent. This Colt revolver looks to have never been taken apart, Screws have never been used. The original M1847 revolver was a collaboration between Texas Ranger Samuel Walker & Samuel Colt for a hard hitting Colt revolver for their time. An excellent 2nd Gen. Colt Walker.
