M1851 Colt Navy Revolver, 1861
Original Colt M1851 Navy Percussion revolver in 6 shot .36 cal. Serial no. 103430, all matching & came out of Colt's factory in 1861. Standard 7 1/2" oct. barrel with Colt Address on top. Great brown patina on metal which is smooth with a small amount of s&p rusting at the lend of loading lever. Traces of cylinder scene intact. Action is excellent. Wood grips in good used condition. Nice mellow patina on the brass bacstrap & triggerguard. Revolver overall is in great condition. A lot of these Navy colts made their way south 1861. A nice Civil War era Colt Navy percussion revolver.
