Nice condition on this M1874 Shoemaker Cavalry Curb Horse The bit has all of the rein rings & lip bar. This bit was blued & still has some intact throughout the bit. The bit is solid & has light rusting all over. Both of the brass US Bosses are intact. The bit has the #3 1/2" arch of Mouthpiece & has the 5" wide mouthpiece. Rare to find one of these bits with the chain still attached as this one.  The cavalry used these M1874 Horse bits until 1901 when replaced.
