Nice, Plains Percussion 1/2 Stock Rifle

Very nice Plains style Percussion 1/2 stock Rifle with nice German Silver inlays. 36" octagon Barrel in around .36 cal. Fixed Rear sight & long front sight. No markings on barrel & has ribbing & thimbles  on bottom. Flat lock plate with hunting scene etching & has a little s&p rusting. Nice NC Style hammer. Nice elaborate brass trigger guard with nice patina. double set triggers which still operate. Nice wood stock with normal use dings, no breaks or cracks. Really nice etched with star german silver patch box & nice etched german silver butt plate with on the other side of back stock is a sitting deer buck. Brass side plate & end of stock plate. This perussion rifle was made either in 1860s or early 70s. Wood ramrod may be original but looks to have the end broken a long time ago. A really nice Plains percussion rifle.Â
