Really Excellent M1849 Colt Pocket Revolver made in 1854. Revolver has 4" oct. barrel with around 65%-70% original bluing intact & has clear two line address: Address Saml Colt New York City & serial no. 99928 on bottom of barrel.  Frame metal smooth with clear Colts Patent intact & SN. 99928. Beyond excellent & very clear cylinder holdup scene which has to be 99% intact with some original bluing  intact. Cylinder marked clearly: Colts Patent No. 99928. Brass trigger guard has around 95% silver finish intact & also has serial no. 99928 & has a J & x marked on the left side. Brass backstrap has around 70% original finish & also 99928. Wood grips in great condition with most of the original varnish intact & has same serial no. as the rest of the gun in the back channel. Action on this early Colt Pocket is excellent. Original loading lever in great condition with sn: 9928 intact. All the metal on this 49 colt is smooth. There are not to many M1849 colt pockets in this excellent condition out there.
