Repro 1700s Style Large Cannon Barrel on a Excellent Heavy Wood Carriage

Early Style 1700s heavy fiberglass cannon barrel with Spanish Shield on top. Barrel is 7' 4" Long with 3 1/2" bore & is painted black. Barrel has 3 1/4" trunions. Very heavy & excellent made Wood carriage with all the correct parts. Metal trunion covers & latches. 5" & 3" rope rings in the proper places. Metal latches on the 12" wood wheels along with other large metal covers. This carriage was actually made for an original or repro metal firing cannon barrel. Carriage made like the early Naval carriages or the large fort cannon barrel. I was told this carriage was made by Campbell Cannon Co. out of Florida & are very well made. New ones are very expensive. Wood on the carriage is solid & very heavy & is nicely stained. The carriage is 55" long by 21" wide across the back & 16" wide across the front. This cannon is a great historic display or is for someone who has an original or repro metal barrel they need a carriage for. Â
