Civil War Tintype Image of US Cavalryman with Sword & Revolver

Nice Cased tintype image of a Western theater U.S. Cavalryman in uniform holding M1860 Cavalry sword with sword knot & in his belt is what appears to be a Colt Revolver. Sword hilt, crossed sabers on hat, buttons & M1851 Sword belt plate, trim on his US Dress cavalry coat are all tinted. Image is in good condition with some small emulsions around soldiers head & small amount at his chin area. Really doesn't distact from image as where it is on his chin is where his whiskers are.  This tintype measures 2" X 21/2". The mat with this image is exceptional with mose of the gilt & has two painted American Flags with Spreadwing American Eagle, Cannon & E Pluribus Unum all around the tintype. The mat has the company name on the edge. In the back of the case I found a tintype of an older man with same facial features as the soldier. This tintype is 2 1/2" X 3".  Tintype is very clear with the gentleman seated. Probably is the same man just a older view. Sorry, no name anywhere. The case is in great condition  & is 3 1/8" X 3 3/4". Case has floral & oval designs & has both locks intact. A very nice cased Union Cavalryman image with weapons & even another tintype who is probably the same man just older & one of the finest painted patriotic mats with flags, Eagle & cannon.
